First full-track render under the S34+ControlNet merge. A/B vs iter52 (https://tube.sethpc.xyz/videos/watch/9d0f1d6b-9032-43b7-81d4-e720917ba7d0). ONLY delta: --controlnet-scale 0.5. Everything else matches iter52: Kick Dust 175.8 BPM, 1fpb (base_fps=2.930, RIFE 20×, effective 58.6fps), α=0.3, complement-prev, max_strength=0.5, per-frame seed. Architecture: pre-computed 15 scene anchor depths via Depth Anything v2 (from fresh txt2img of each scene prompt), linearly blended per-frame between consecutive scene anchors based on scene progress, fed to StableDiffusionXLControlNetImg2ImgPipeline (Turbo UNet + ControlNet-depth-sdxl-1.0, conditioning_scale=0.5). Tests the core hypothesis: ControlNet-depth spatial anchor + current content-pull (α=0.3 + complement-prev + per-frame seed for Euler anti-convergence) fixes the spatial-churn issue seed-lock couldn't (iter53/54 both convergent). Seth's S30 iter15 verdict at cn_scale=0.5 was 'too locked/surface-repaint' — that was under plain linear_scene without α/complement-prev content pull. Kick Dust sweep: iter50 (no-cn, 0.7/0.5)=18.15 → iter51 (0.5/0.5)=12.88 → iter52 (0.5/0.3)=10.99 → iter53 (per-scene seed)=15.37 convergent → iter54 (chunk5 seed)=22.97 convergent-cycling → iter55 (cn 0.5)=10.84 Mbps. Bitrate nearly matches iter52 — CN is structure-locking but total frame complexity is similar. Verdict needed: does spatial churn finally feel resolved?
