Iteration 23 — fix #3a — pure latent chain (no noise inject)

Session 32 fix #3 step A: iter 12 config switched from PNG-chain (VAE encode/decode per frame) to LATENT-chain (frames stay in latent space end-to-end, VAE decode only when writing PNGs). Isolates the chain-type variable from noise injection. Per Session 28 handoff, latent chain by itself is an anti-simplification lever: 'latent chain prevents VAE-erosion convergence (pixel-space chains degrade over ~48 frames).' This run tests whether that alone is enough without the supplementary fix #3b (fresh Gaussian noise injection). Only variable changed vs iter 20 (baseline): chain-mode png→latent. Everything else identical — SDXL Turbo, 6/12 inference steps, CFG 0.0, base_strength=0.25, 1024², 6fps→RIFE 24fps, EulerAncestralDiscreteScheduler, quick_morph scene boundaries, no Gemma expansion, same 4-scene Opus storyboard (cached from iter 20). Render also measurably faster: 0.82 fps (latent) vs 0.6 fps (png), from skipping per-frame VAE encode. A/B references on the same storyboard: iter 20 base=0.25 png https://tube.sethpc.xyz/w/1ZcNNsdZQmyd4kjqaBVU38 iter 21 base=0.35 png https://tube.sethpc.xyz/w/kktv3muvTXnwz5BHYh5JBV iter 22 base=0.20 png https://tube.sethpc.xyz/w/fFgtTSsgNojMN3mFP8G83w Next if latent alone insufficient: iter 24 = latent + noise injection (K=6, α=0.1).
