        <description>Layer-by-layer debug infrastructure. New frontend/shaders/passthrough.frag: minimal crossfade-only shader, zero post-processing. Source images assembled into video with no compositor effects at all. New CLI flags: --shader  and --passthrough (shortcut). Pipeline: unchanged (preanalysis → CLAP → storyboard → SDXL 640² → validator → passthrough shader → ffmpeg). Compositor hit 54 fps because there's no work for the fragment shader to do. 8.5 MB tiny MP4 — baseline for judging the SDXL pool without any shader contribution. Purpose: if the pool looks bad here, the issue is upstream of the compositor. If it looks good, any 'bad' in later iters is the shader's fault.</description>
